The rain went away for my session with the lovely Becky! Not only did the rain go away, but it felt like summer again. Crazy.
I had so much fun photographing Becky! I hope you enjoy!

Little Miss R... Newborn
I photographed little Miss R earlier this week, amidst the rain. There is something about photographing little ones in their home environment... I just love it. I also love it when my clients have ideas to incorporate or props that have special meaning to them. In these first two images, Miss R is sleeping on her mom's wedding dress. How cool is that?! I LOVE how these turned out, I hope you do too! Enjoy!

A Blustery Fall Day
The fall portrait season is in full swing for Ever After Photography this week! Today I had photographed an adorable newborn girl. I photographed her brother, Mr C, earlier this spring, and I have to say that she is just as cute. :)
I hope you're all enjoying this fall weather! Will it stick around?

Computer Problems and Frogs
Frogs are not the cause of my computer problems, no worries.
You know its fall when the tree frogs are no longer clinging to the windows. This daring little guy posed for me a few weeks ago. He pretty much stayed there all day.
My laptop is dying a slow and painful death. It has gotten way more than its share of use and abuse. Ok, so maybe its not dying. But it is WAY slow and needs to be replaced. So, needless to say, I've ordered an iMac. All 27 inches of fantastic-ness. Can't wait for it to be delivered. Expect photos. Scratch that. Expect photos AFTER I have finally caught up on all of my personal photos that have been shoved to the back burner. I may share some of those as well. You never know.
Happy Thursday!

Class of 2012:: Cody B
Cody loves sports. I'm the opposite of an athlete. In school, I was the kid who somehow always managed to get whacked in the head. Stating this fact got a huge grin from Cody.
Nevertheless, we had a fantastic session. Lit-up score board included.
I think I say this with every dog I photograph, but Badger, you just might be the best behaved dog I've photographed. Seriously. I said his name (Badger, not Cody) to get him to look at me, and he came! I've made a new friend.
(above) LOVE
(above) I just had to include these. They made me smile.
Thanks, Cody! Hope you enjoy!

What a view!
I'm scrambling to find something to blog as my sneak peek isn't quite ready (it'll be up tomorrow), and remembered this panoramic. This was on my latest trip to Duluth last week. We took this rode as whim to see if we could get a better view of, well, this.
*click to enlarge*At one point I felt like we were on some mountain in Europe, the road was that curvy.
We pulled over into the "overlook" and I hopped out of the car, eager to find a good vantage point. Mom suggested I stand on the wall. I looked at her like she was crazy. If you can't tell from the photo, its a significant drop. Her response? "I'll hold you." Ha. I peeked over the edge and saw there was about a three foot ledge before it dropped off. Needless to say, I stood on the wall. And here is the proof.

North Shore Whirlwind
Last night I got back from an impromptu trip to Duluth. It was quite exciting, but I'm now in the middle of a boat load of photos. (Pun intended, photos of the boat to come) Here is a fun "fall" photo that I quick took during my latest senior session. This weekend is full to the brim with sessions, so stay tuned for their sneak peeks!

Aliena and Collin:: 09/04/2011
I had the privilege of photographing Aliena and Collin's wedding last weekend at the lovely Florian Gardens. We had a beautiful day. Take a look!
I LOVE photographing the Groom's reactions to seeing his bride for the first time.
Aliena, you were gorgeous!
Aliena's beautiful bouquet was created by Wildwood Flowers.
Love these!
Thank you Aliena and Collin for having me be a part of your special day!
