I had the honor of photographing Little Mr D's family last week.
They are such an amazing family!
Here's a little bit of their story:
"Doug and I always new we wanted to have a family of our own, and after many years of trying, we turned to adoption...one of the best decisions of our lives! Our son, Donovan was born on June 13th and forever placed in our arms on Oct. 10th, 2013....the same day we had our Red Thread Session
with Laura from Ever After Photography! That was a perfect way to capture our first family photo,
by having it on our official day of being a family!"
Little Mr D, you are so handsome! He totally stole my heart.
Red Thread Sessions is a great non-profit organization offering portrait sessions free of charge to families who have recently adopted a child. You can check out their website *here*.
